Classes

You can now register for any class right here on our website. If you find a class you like, just click on reserve your seat to purchase. You can still register by coming into the shop. If you have any questions, feel free to call us at 801-692-7127 or send us an email to tiawna@thequilterscrossing.com.

Patterns are required for every attendee of a class using a pattern.

Classes are non-refundable. Depending on circumstances, classes may be able to be rescheduled, but no refunds will be given after registration. If we cancel a class, you will receive a full refund of the class fee that you paid. Classes with less than 3 people registered may be rescheduled or canceled.

2025-26 Mystery Block of the Month

Join us for a year of quilting fun with our 2025–2026 Mystery Block of the Month! Classes meet the 2nd Saturday of each month at 8:00 am or 9:00 am—please choose your preferred time when registering.

 Program Details:

  • Registration: $40
  • Monthly Block Fee: $10 per month
  • Finish Early & Save: Bring your completed block back the following month and pay only $8—a $2 savings! (You have up to one week after the 2nd Saturday to qualify for the $8 price.)
  • What will we be making: One 16 1/2” unfinished block per month
  • Color Choices: Two beautiful colorways available (on display at the shop)
  • Finished Quilt Size: 68" x 87"

Kimberbell Event: Comfort & Joy

Monday & Tuesday, November 17th and 18th

10 am to 5 pm

Instructors: Kendyl Pinnock & Dixie Hatch

At Kimberbell’s two-day Comfort & Joy machine embroidery event, you’ll stitch six holiday designs for five stunning projects: the Blizzard Bliss Pillow, Comfort & Joy Wreath Sash, Joy Ride Hoop, and the Baubles & Boughs and Merry & Bright Tea Towels. With classic colors and a variety of new techniques, our Comfort & Joy event is sure to warm your holiday heart!

Lunch included both days. You will need your own thread, stabilizer, and machine embroidery supplies. The pre-cut kit and designs will be provided for you on the first day of class. Machine Rental is available with Babylock, Brother, and Bernina for $15 for both days.

In this class we will make 3 fun patterns; Bitsy Box, Itty Bitty Bowler, and Cut It Out! The Bitsy Box is a teeny tiny fabric box. Great little pouch for sewing notions, knitting notions, ear buds, cell phone chargers, baby binky's, kids toys etc. The Itty Bitty Bowler makes a great gift bag for jewelry, small stuffed animals, and other goodies. Cut it out is perfect to store and carry your favorite scissors, shears, or snips.

These are great beginner patterns and will be so fun to make for yourself or for gifts. Let's make it a party and bring a snack to share with the class.
