Classes
You can now register for any class right here on our website. If you find a class you like, just click on reserve your seat to purchase. You can still register by coming into the shop. If you have any questions, feel free to call us at 801-692-7127 or send us an email to tiawna@thequilterscrossing.com.
Patterns are required for every attendee of a class using a pattern.
Classes are non-refundable. Depending on circumstances, classes may be able to be rescheduled, but no refunds will be given after registration. If we cancel a class, you will receive a full refund of the class fee that you paid. Classes with less than 3 people registered may be rescheduled or canceled.

Open Sew
Join us for an Open Sew! Bring your projects, sew alongside friends, and make some new ones, too. Your $5 non-refundable reservation holds your spot, but you can apply it toward any purchase made during the Open Sew—so it’s essentially free!

If our listed dates fill up, we’re happy to add more! If you and a group of friends would like to come on a specific day, just ask—our staff can check availability. Open Sews can often be scheduled on any day we don’t already have a class planned.

Patchwork Quilted Bow
Prep Class: Monday, June 8th from 11 am to 12 pm

This Patchwork Quilted Bow is beginner friendly. Make this beautiful quilted bow that's full of texture, charm and cozy handmade detail. It is perfect for holiday decor, wreaths, nursery accents, and more.
You can register for the optional Prep Class where you will learn how to use the easy piecing grid so that you can get your prep work done before class. No machines or materials needed. Lisa will just walk you through and demonstrate how to use the easy piecing grid if you don't already know how. And may also give tips on any additional prep work needed for the class.

Bag SOS: Finish It! Workshop

Stuck on a bag project and not sure how to move forward? Bring it to our Bag SOS: Finish-It! Workshop! This session is designed specifically for students who have already started their bag and need a little guidance to overcome tricky steps, confusing instructions, or stalled momentum.
Please note: this workshop is not for starting a new bag or working on bags currently offered as classes in our shop. Students should arrive with their project already underway and a good idea of where they need help.
Our instructor will offer hands-on support, troubleshooting, and encouragement to help you get your bag finished with confidence! Bring your in-progress bag, pattern, and any supplies you need—let’s get you unstuck and back to sewing success.

Nightingale Zipper Pouch

Thoughtfully constructed, this versatile quilted case features four clear vinyl zipper pockets, allowing you to easily see and access your items. The Quarry Tote

A fun bag in two sizes (small and mid-sized) with a flat base and zippered front pocket. Lots of options to customize yours, from handles, a crossbody strap, and closure options (recessed zipper, magnetic snap/Loxx, or metal snap) will make this bag a multipurpose one you grab again and again. Perfect for knitting and crafting supplies, a lunch bag, toiletries, or as an everyday bag!

Kimberbell Day
Saturday, July 18th from 9 am to 1 pm
We will be hosting open sew style, while we watch the Kimberbell Day presentation from Kimberbell Designs on the TV.
Lunch will be provided. Please email whytnee@thequilterscrossing.com with any dietary restrictions prior to July 11th.
Goodie bag and prizes for all attendees.
Machines can be rented for $15. Please bring your own machine, all the supplies you need for your projects you plan on working on and be ready for some fun!

Wonky Log Cabin Quilt

Join us and create your own WONKY Log Cabin Quilt- a playful twist on a classic favorite! Using 2.5" precut fabric strips. Whether you love a coordinated look or adore the scrappy patchwork style this project is a great way to use up your scraps and make something uniquely yours! I'll also be bringing some of my own fabric scraps to share, so you may find a few pieces that coordinate beautifully with what you already have.
Come sew with us, and leave with a quilt that's delightfully wonky and completely one of a kind!

The Stitching Hour
Friday & Saturday, August 28th and 29th

At Kimberbell’s two-day machine embroidery event, you’ll make three feature projects and five fa-boo-lous ornaments for the included tabletop tree. Stitch the Haunted House Gift Card Holder on Pink Plaid Leather, then make a Monster Stash Zipper Pouch with a striped zipper “scar!” The Batty Candy Wrap holds your favorite treat with black Micro Velvet and foldable wings, while Booella, Twinklewing, Sadie Spider, Pumpkin Petals, and Boo-tiful Stitches are charming additions to the light-up tree.
Included in your fee: Kimberbell Kit (includes all materials except stabilizer and thread), Lunch, and Prizes.

Poppins Bag (Any Size)

Join us for a fun and friendly sewing class where you’ll create your very own Poppins Bag! You can make any size Poppins Bag in the class (Mini, Regular, Giant). Prep work is required before coming to class and you will still have to sew the bottom of your bag on after class. If you come prepared for class, you will likely finish everything and be ready to attach your bag bottom.

Machine Embroidery Notebook Cover
Friday, September 11th

Your loved ones will truly love these wonderfully fun, entertaining, and personalized notebook covers. Choose from 3 Designs: Halloween, Sewing, and Honeycomb. You can choose to make any of the designs in this class. Select which design(s) you would like to purchase. We will have them preloaded onto a USB for you.

The Lisa Bag
Saturday, October 17th

The structure of the bag is intentional. Boxed corners give it a tailored shape and help it sit beautifully against the body. The top zipper closure adds security while maintaining a streamlined look. Inside, a simple slip pocket keeps smaller items organized and easy to reach.

At Kimberbell's one-day machine embroidery event, you'll make three jolly projects with a holiday theme: Dip & Sip Holiday
Cookie Holder, the North Pole Sweets Tea Towel, and the Sprinkles on Top Gift Tag! With a variety of merry techniques, Mrs. Claus' Bakery is a tasteful touch for your Christmas kitchen.
Included in your fee: Kimberbell Kit (all materials needed except stabilizer and thread), lunch, and prizes!
